Question: Does Ajax Truclient (Firefox) script built in VuGen 12.02 would run in HP ALM Performance Center 12.01? Though I already tried it and got a bunch of errors, I just wanted to confirm if that was the reason it failed to run. Thank you for your answers in advance! :)

Newer versions of TruClient aren't likely to run on older versions due to changes in the binaries used to execute on the Load Generators.

Is it necessary to upgrade your version of Performance Center to 12.20 or if you LoadRunner 12.01 folder installer, install VuGen 12.01 from the standalone applications folder

Best practice is to keep all at the same version, down to the patch level. Otherwise you can wind up with weird henkiness, such as negative response times (observed in a major upgrade where load generators were not upgraded) and other bizarre behavior which causes lots of support calls, questions on test integrity and which simply goes away when all versions are reconciled.
