Okay, I have a query. In Loadrunner Analysis 12.00, when you open a new report session, the transaction summary includes data pertaining only to passed transactions. After checking the global filter options, I realized that 'transaction end status' was set to a value of 'pass only'. And hence the summary displayed results of only passed transactions. Now I set the same to include passed and failed transactions. What happens is the response times now also includes the times captured for the failed transactions as well, which doesnt make sense! Is this a bug? Or a feature? What if I NEED failed transaction counts BUT dont want to include response times for the failed ones? Please let me know if there is a way to achieve this.

Change the global filter to include failed transactions, and under the response time graph set a filter to exclude them. Global = all graphs, but you can still filter on a per graph basis.

Yes, I could apply filters for graphs. But, the bigger question at hand is how to get the table in "Transaction Summary" to include reaponse times for ONLY passed transactions? Currently, for me it's showing both response times(passed and failed) which is not my requirement.

Doesn't transaction graph give you details on pass and fail? You can merge the details in a spreadsheet with response times

Yes. That is an option. But why isnt there an option for me to include response times for only passed transactions. I have a business requirement to produce response times of only passed transactions but also need to report how many transactions failed! If I apply a global filter, it works, but then it hides my failed transaction counts! I hope Im clear

Your requirement is clear. Keep failed transactions in the Global Filter, and use the Analysis Summary Filter to remove them from the Summary page. See screenshot below, where I have circled the button you need to click.

An additional query here, when I generate a customer facing report or any report for that matter, the transaction summary page in the report contains a table which includes transaction response times for failed transactions as well. I tried applying the filter specific to the report but then Im back to square one again. Do I have to use a combination of filters to make this work? To reiterate, I want to generate a report, which has a transaction summary table showing failed transaction counts, however excluding the response times for failed transactions at the same time. Shane?
