Well,you won't be using exe application once you capture the messages between that app and the next upstream architectural component. Research thread safety It becomes a question of protocol and operating system host for the virtual users

Vuser as athread means it genarates a single driver program for all the vusers runing inthe execution. Resource consumption will be low at LG at thread mechanism. Run vser as process means it genarates each driver program for each user running in the execution. Resource consumption wil be high at LG at proces mechanism.
