Hello, LoadRunner 12.xx TruClient not supporting IP spoofing. While running in controller, 1. When I try "local host" in Load Generator, Firefox getting crashed. 2. When I try with "IP address(e.g. 192.168.0.1)" in Load Generator, users are in Init state only(not moving to Run state, even not showing any errors). LoadRunner 12.xx Enhancements and added integrations for protocols - TruClient: Support for rendezvous points, IP spoofing, and Shunra network virtualization Need help in this.

Yes, I am giving valid IP addresses. Web HTTP/HTML scripts are working fine with these IP addresses and IP spoofing option.

Consider running on a dedicated load generator and not on the controller. It is considered a poor practice to run on the controller in general. Once you add the large resource cost for Truclient in the mix you are going o be impacting your test quality. The loopback address is 127.0.0.1. xxxx.xxx.0.1 addresses are typically reserved for your gateway address, with clients in a range above 1. This is by no means enforced as a universal constant, but it is more typical. IP Spoofing is independent of the issues you note on init and the issue with running tests commingled with the controller as a load generator

I am facing a similar issue but for all the protocol. If i enable IP spoofying the vusers are always down and not getting initialised. If i disable IP spoofing everything is going fine. I was able to capture few time " CCI Logfile eror " Any help will be really appreciated. Thanks ..

Give the required proxy if on the m/c browser is having one.it will sort the issue
