Importing and Exporting runtime settings can be helpful in many ways to a tester as this has following advantages
- Saves time by copying simler settings to all scripts.
- Maintains standardisation across tests
Export runtime settings
- Open a script and double-click Runtime Settings in the Solution Explorer.
- In the Runtime Settings view, click Export All.
- In the Save As dialog box, choose a location for the JSON file that will store the runtime settings and click Save.
- Open a script and double-click Runtime Settings in the Solution Explorer.
- In the Runtime Settings view, click Import.
- In the Open dialog box, select a JSON file containing the runtime settings that you exported earlier and click Open.
- Save the script.
