Converting Fiddler Session To Loadrunner VuGen Script

In the following tutorial, we will demonstrate how to convert a simple fiddler recording into a vugen script. This is useful when

• Loadrunner is not able to record
• Loadrunner is not capturing a few requests
• you just like fiddler !!

So lets begin by downloading the Fiddler From Here , You can also download chrome extension of fiddler here.



Install Fiddler by following normal installation steps.



You can find the fiddler in program files



Start the fiddler in administrator mode and it will start capturing traffic. Open your application in browser and go through the flow you want to record. It will look like below



Once the recording is completed save the session as shown below



Save the session as a .saz file



Open the vugen, click on File Open->script/solution and select all files as shown in the image. and select the .saz file.





Bingo you are done
