While creating citrix script, i do not see snapshots getting saved in script directory, also i can not see anything saved in sync bitmap folder in data folder of script. Its a LR9.52 and citrix client 9.1. I am planning to upgrade the LR and citrix client to see if its working, however if there is quick fix to this please share with me
 
“Failed to retrieve the ICA client bitmap, “The server threw an exception”. I have seen this error in recording log
 
Have you installed the LR agent on the Citrix server? Also, try changing the 'snapshot' parameters(number) in the code.
 
Agent can be there on server but i am not using agent while recording the script. It fails while replaying showing the same error which i got in recording.
 
The LR agent I'm talking about is a component that enhances vugens ability to handle/record scripts, most importantly while trying to 'get text'.
 
Yes understood you mean citrix agent which we install on citrix server, what i am saying is i am not using citrix agent related recording options checked while recording the script. I doubt its compatibility issue, i have to get citrix metaframe server version may be that is what something might not be supported by LR
 
I recently worked on Citrix ICA client 9.1 - LR 9.5 and Xenapp 4.5. I didnt get any error while recording, but sure did face it while running the scripts at high loads.
 
Ashwin for your information even i was able to work successfully on the same application 2 months before and i had all snapshots and bitmap information saved in data folder, however the same application is giving this issue, so i am not doubting LR, but looks like some compatibility with citrix server, i will check if they have upgraded citrix server and will investigate further on this.
