Job Description:
The candidate will work with product management and development team for performance testing and analysis of a solution and will:
· Understand the solution architecture/design and its performance requirements/SLAs
· Assume ownership of performance engineering engagements and deliverables
· Assist in architecture design and analysis of high performance computing architectures such as grid computing, in-database computing
· Develop strategy and approach for simulating a real-time workload and measure software performance under workload
· Develop and execute automation suites (scripts/tests etc.)
· Instrument various layers of the software (and hardware) for monitoring their performance under load
· Identify and analyze performance bottlenecks in the solution and provide tuning recommendations (this includes the use of profilers like DynaTrace)
· Raise defects and guide architectural changes
· Develop tools and utilities for monitoring and analysis of the solutions

Technology
Rich clients, Java, SAS, Flex/flash, application servers (websphere/weblogic/tomcat/tcServer), database (Oracle,MySQL,DB2, Teradata), operating systems (windows, unix, linux, aix)
Technical Skills
· Performance Engineering background (Excellent knowledge of Loadrunner/Performance Center, understanding of profilers like DynaTrace, Performance Analysis and Tuning of Java based mid-tier or SAS or DB Servers)
· Excellent programming skills in any language (C,C++, Java ,SAS)
· Excellent understanding of multi-tier architecture and related performance concepts
· Excellent oral and written communication skills
· Excellent teamwork and ability to work closely with remote and local development teams
· Good project management skills
