Morning Guys, I am trying to find different functions that are written by performance testers using AJAX protocol. I am currently using LoadRunner 11.50. Website uses XMLHttpRequest as well as Javascript. Is this the correct protocol or should i use web(http/html). These two are the protocols advised by protocol advisor. Thanks for any assistance.

I will suggest you to use web protocol, in Ajax the script maintenance is a big head ache most of the time it won't identify the object, the failure rate will be high...

Dealing with tbe same problem running into correlation issues with cmlhttprequest

Currently my team is using Ajax click and script but i've never used it. Its bit diff. Stick w ravi's advise im gonna try tht...will keep u posted

@Hs I agree the correlation will be a tedious job if the flow is lengthy, however creating the correlation rule and enabling autocorrelation will help a lot

@Hs let me know if you face any issue in Ajax protocol, I have worked on it.

I think that's what i will have to do because i can find the value in the log but can't seem to find any place in the script where i can replace the hard coded "session id"
