LR provides Microsoft Remote Desktop protocol to record application on remote machine. This protocol records application at GUI level. So similarly which protocol provides facility to record window application on local host at GUI level? My requirement is to record a Java based windows application on local machine. Please advise. Thanks in advance.
 
Sudheer cud u plz be specific which gui protocol will support java desktop application..
 
Ravi I tried with java record n replay. Its working for my application but script customisation is very complex here
 
Using GUI protocol means to record the script using QTP and execute it from Controller. You need to have the licenses related to this bundle.

Well, in that case.. I see you were able to record with Java RR. You can proceed with the same. The correlations and parametrization are not simple as we have in Web protocol.
 
Yeah. I succeed to record with RDP protocol as well but here problem is dat i can run only one user per machine. So i m interested in a protocol which record similar to rdp but on local machine
