is it possible to increase the http request time out and http response time out to more than 999 seconds in HP Perfomance Center 11.52? If yes, how? Thank you in advance,

This would mean that you receive zero bytes in response for over 16:39.000. That spells bad magic....

agree but for know they want to see how the application response time is regardless of how long it is because as of now they are throwing an issue with Loadrunner that cannot handle the response time due to time outs limitation. Any suggestion on how should I deal with it?

Well, there are a couple of issues in play here. One, you need to adjust the timeout higher on the server side, because you could get a server timeout before the server responds. Second, there is an option of using a controller node directly in a performance center environment. In that case you could define the scenario, save the scenario, then modify the .lrs file directly (if needed) for any higher value that you need.

that is the challenge we dont have admin privilege to download and install controller in my machine. How about the web_set_timeout function? have you tried this? will this work for http timeout or just for stepdownload timeout?

You would try that or you could remote desktop to a controller node and run the test bypassing the Performance Center infrastructure
