If I create the script in QTP and running the script in controller using GUI Protocol. How the performance should be?

100% effective, assuming your QTP Developer is also 100% effective. You have Context Sensitive and analog modes. All you need is one OS instance per virtual user to run them. This would be an ill advised path however.

Just be prepared for huge costs for each virtual user is substantially more expensive than an API virtual user in both actual dollars per virtual user license as well as resources required to execute. Most people head down this path thinking, "cool, I can reuse my QTP Scripts and save money." This is not true, for your QTP scripts have a lot of weight in them to be pulled out before using them for performance tests so there will be labor rework in any case. The number of machines of complexity of machines (Citrix/Terminal Server licenses) will be very large. It will be substantially less expensive overall to hire a well skilled developer of API level performance tests to rebuild the scripts. If you must run GUI scripts to check end user response time through the interface, then consider a single virtual user per business process.

Thanks James. Just one more calrification, When going with Terminal services are we need the below license 1. GUI Vusers license. 2. QTP seat/concurrent license is required for QTP 3. Terminal server license For Example for a 150 concurrent user load test, we need, A. 150 GUI Vuser protocol license , B. 1 QTP license. C. 150 terminal Server license?

No......you have two license there, Terminal server and QTP. Pick one or the other. RDP is one type, GUI another. You do not use RDP to kick off a GUI. RDP is less expensive than GUI. Be prepared to sacrifice one headcount for your group, a ram and a kilogram of myrrh before going to ask for budget for 150 GUI Virtual Users. You will need the blessings of all of heaven to justify that one when a less expensive option will likely satisfy
