I'd like to make an enhancement request that a single (1) vuser for the Template protocol and the GUI Vuser protocol be made available in the community addition so that proof of concepts can be done.

The challenge with the GUI user is that it also requires a UFT license to run. This comes with the paid license, but if given away with LR community could be easily abused. Similarly with the template VU, there are a lot of ways to make one VU act like many, and even though we know the best practice is to have separate caching, memory, and all of that, many people are willing to cut that corner. You could buy a very low number of VUDs from SaaS.hpe.com which include all protocols. It doesn't give you the UFT runtime license, but everything else is there. That way any template VUs you script can be executed in the controller for 24 hours.
