Hi All, we are trying to record the mobile app in lr.The mobile and vugen are in same Lan only.I am using mobile HTTP/HTML Protocal. But the problem is the lr is recorded only HTTP applications only,Not recorded the HTTPS applications. Can anybody suggest me which protocal is used for HTTPS applications at the same time is there any changes in recording options & proxy settings.

But i want to record the android apk files in lr using mobile. The mobile and vugen are in lan. Firdaus Kamaruddin

It isn't about a browser. Still uses HTTP/S and therefore can be recorded via proxy. Please follow the steps before you decide it won't work.

Shane Evans Yesterday I tried using lr proxy. But it didn't recorded. But my apk file is using HTTPS protocal.

Did you import the LR security certificate on your device, just like the links I provided show? This will allow LR to decrypt the traffic. If you didn't do these things, either your app won't work or LR won't capture anything.

Once upon a time ago I was in this exact same position. Nothing was working until gasp.... I read the manual and imported those certs. When one understands how it works, it makes perfect sense :) Now the issue with it missing certain headers is an entirely different issue. That one took much longer to figure out and only some deep level wiresharking found what was going on. The vugen recording engine simple dropped headers it didn't think was valid. This is mainly though when dealing with IBM WorkLight apps.

Shane Evans Petar Puskarich can u provide direct link for LR security certificate? If I get the LR security certificate, where I suppose to put these certificate? Is it in mobile or vugen machine?

If you read the link i give...in case 3, it mention how to deal with https. It also mention how to create the link for the cert. Use browser to access the cert and install it in your phone. Then access the apps. It is that eazy if you read the manual
