Hi All, I have recorded the script through jmeter, Co-related all the fields. Scripts was working fine at 9-feb-2015, But Same Script I run on the 11-feb-2015(today), it was not working? I discussed with the team members about that, some said new release have been their on 10-feb-2015.. My question is that does the new release for the application affect the previously recorded script ? Its getting very tedious for me to again co-relate all the parameters and re- run the script. Also any suggestion when I should do script recording ? Thanks in advance
 
Pratik- Yes, on each new release of the project /application should affect on existing recorded script. In order to get confirmation, all you need to do is check the script flow manually through browser and if you could see change in functional flow, record the script again
 
If there are UI changes , then its mandatory to change ,,esle use API calls which might not change so often....
 
Compare previous HTML with new HTML to identify the changes
