Hello everyone, I have been up here before asking questions, but never got around to getting back to learning loadrunner because of work I had to do, but now I want to jump at it again. Used to use it on a basic level years ago testing web apps. Should I start with C programming first before I go through the loadrunner tutorials. I also heard you can download it for free for 14 days on a trial version? Thanks

Learn basics of c like if, for , arrays etc. And trial is for 30 days with 50 users license for all protocols

Yes, you can get a LR trial very easily. HP folks have posted links here or just use Teh GOOgles. Take the tutorials. They are excellent and will lead you through the parts of C that you need to know. I don't consider learning C first to be a waste of time, but you will spend a lot of time looking at things that you will rarely need for LR. I think it is best to let LR lead you to the C you need.

Thanks so much guys, I really loved using it when I did. I will try to get my skills back up so that I can hopefully get work again.

Thanks so much guys. Yes Erik it is a good career. I appreciate all of you guys input. I was part of a Technical Automation Team. Just want to get back in that type of arena again.

you should be strong in logic.. using loops(for /do while etc)..actually in loadrunner syntax are in C programming..
