Ahh yeah, I've not had to test for different character sets even, but I would expect that would be header and mime type changes. You do raise a great point however in that I've thought for years that there should be more "functional" testing features added into Vugen natively. Would have to develop the libraries to do it but should be possible right?

LR doesn't care about the language of the App Under Test (AUT). It's just data. Doesn't matter if the label of a button says "Hello", "Namaste", "Hola", or "Konnichiwa". What matters is that you find the button and click it or submit the URL for the post action. Now if you are using the same script where the AUT changes language based on localization and you have a text check, then you may need to do a dynamic text check or look for some other success criteria. Even if the response page text is multibyte language, it doesn't change the response of the app. Maybe I just don't fully understand your use case.

I think you are right Erik . I know when we were doing scripting for our dynamic content generator that changed server responses on the fly based on user geographic location rules it was quite interesting writing the validation checker to catch all the rules that could be invoked.

Yeah, Petar, my thought would be that you could build a table like so: Lang, Text1, Text2, Text3, ... TextN Then fill it with the language code and appropriate message to verify. It just seems clunky to me. I don't see what this has to do with the purpose of sending volumes of users against the AUT. Maybe I'm just not thinking outside of my rectangular enclosure.
