Nothing beats HP documentation and hpe community. Any book that can be written on LoadRunner will be a mere shadow of the LoadRunner guide that comes along with the installation. Wilsonmar.com is an excellent companion to the guide

There are no books on LoadRunner. Read the l.icense agreement and you will see why. read all of the HP documentation, this will place you in the top 0.1% (point one not ten) percent of the users.

The oficial documentation will only give you a very entry point to the protocol you are interested on. I suggest you to do research per protocol you want to learn more. if that is not enough, you will need an expert that guide you in the practial matter of the protocol of your interest.
